Template:MODFLOW DRT Package Workflow

1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW project.
The existing model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.

2. Activate the drain return package.
Select MODFLOW | Global Options. In the MODFLOW Global/Basic Package dialog, select the Packages button. In the MODFLOW Packages/Processes dialog, select the DRT1 – Drain Return option.

3. Create DRT boundary conditions.
Using the Select Cells File:Tool SelectCells.png tool, select cells in the drain boundary condition area. Select the MODFLOW | Advanced | Sources/Sinks... menu command. Enter drain return values in the MODFLOW Sources/Sinks dialog.

4. Modify DRT inputs.
Select the MODFLOW | Optional Packages | DRT – Drain Return… menu command. Modify inputs in the MODFLOW Drain Return Package dialog.

5. Run MODFLOW.
Save the project. Run MODFLOW .
