1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW project.
The existing model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.
2. Activate the multi-node wells package.
  1. Select MODFLOW | Global Options.
  2. In the MODFLOW Global/Basic Package dialog, select the Packages button.
  3. In the MODFLOW Packages/Processes dialog, select the MNW2 – Multi-Node Wells option.
3. Create MNW2 well boundary conditions.
  1. Using the Select Cells Select 3D Cell Tool.svg tool, select cells in well areas.
  2. Select the MODFLOW | Advanced | Sources/Sinks... menu command.
  3. Enter wells (MNW2) values in the MODFLOW Sources/Sinks dialog.
4. Modify MNW2 inputs.
  1. Select the MODFLOW | Optional Packages | MNW2 – Multi-Node Wells… menu command.
  2. Modify inputs in the MODFLOW Multi-Node Well (MNW2) Package dialog.
5. Run MODFLOW.
  1. Save Save Macro.svg the project.
  2. Run MODFLOW Run MODFLOW Macro.svg.
