WMS is an excellent tool to help with the development of hydrologic models. Users should be knowledgeable about the limitations and applications of the particular hydrologic or hydraulic model when using WMS to develop.
The "docs" sub-directory found in the folder where WMS is installed contains all of the model documentation available in *.pdf format. It is strongly encouraged to read through these files prior to using the models for a particular application. It is also encouraged to seek additional documentation provided by the separate installations of the supported models (for example HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS).
