1. Open the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog.
  1. Right-click on the Bridge Scour coverage in the Project Explorer and select the Custom Properties command.
2. Define the gradation.
  1. In the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog, select the Define Soil Gradation button.
  2. Enter gradation in the Bridge Scour Soil Gradation dialog.
3. Select the mesh.
  1. In the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog, select the 2D Mesh to use which will define which datasets are available.
4. Define scenarios.
  1. In the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog, click Add Scenario Add button.png.
  2. In the Edit Bridge Scour Scenario dialog, enter the scenario name and select datasets for the following:
    • Water Surface Elevations
    • Water Depth
    • Water Velocity
5. Model Specifications.
In the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog:
  1. Select the Contraction Scour Variable Extraction Approach as either "Streamlines" or "Bank Width Ratios".
  2. Select the NCHRP Abutment Scour Condition as either "Type a" or "Type b".
6. Set advanced options if needed.
  1. In the Bridge Scour Coverage Properties dialog, select the Edit Advanced Options button.
  2. Define advanced options in the Bridge Scour Advanced Options dialog.
