Create Locked Nodes Dataset from Coverage

The Create Locked Nodes Dataset from Coverage tool creates a scalar dataset based on nodes that lie within polygons or within a specified distance from arcs in a specified coverage. Nodes that are within the polygons or located a specified distance of arcs will be assigned the value 1.0 ("locked") and all other nodes will be assigned the value 0.0 ("unlocked").

Input parameters:

• Grid – Select the UGrid that the dataset will be created for.
• Selection coverage – Select the coverage that contains the polygons or arcs to be used for specifying locked nodes.
• Geometry – Select "Polygons" to specify that all nodes inside of the polygons should be "locked". Select "Arcs" to specify that all nodes within the specified distance of the arcs should be "locked".
• Offset – If "Arcs" is the selected geometry, specify the offset, or distance from the arcs where nodes should be "locked".

Output parameters

• Locked nodes dataset name – Specify the name for the new dataset.
