Primitive Weighting
This tool creates one or two functions representing the celerity and/or the wavelength at each node, based on the depth at each node. The celerity (C) is defined as the relative velocity of a wave with respect to the fluid in which it is travelling.
- The Output base name edit field allows the modeler to customize the name of the dataset being created.
- .
- .
Input parameters
- Input dataset – Select a bathymetry dataset in the project. If the dataset is in elevation, it will be converted to depth.
- Input dataset is depth – Check if the input bathymetry dataset is in depth and not elevation.
- Gravity (m/s2 or ft/s2) – Enter a gravity value for the celerity equation.
- Period (seconds) – Enter a period value for the wavelength equation.
- Minimum depth (m or ft) – Set a minimum depth to buffer the function results.
Output parameters
- Wavelength/Celerity dataset basename – Allows customizing the name of the dataset being created.
