1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW 6 project.
The existing MODFLOW 6 model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.
2. Add the EVT package to the simulation.
  1. Right-click on the MF6 GWF Model.svg GWF model and select New Package, then select the desired package from the list.
3. Map from coverage to the EVT package.
  1. In the Project Explorer, right-click on the package and use the Map from Coverage command.
  2. Select the desired coverage from the Select Coverage dialog to map its data to the selected package.
4. Modify EVT inputs.
  1. Right-click on the package in the Project Explorer and select the Open command.
  2. Modify the inputs in the package dialog.
These inputs include:
  • SURFACE
  • RATE
  • DEPTH
