To use Annotations/Drawing tools in WMS, use the following steps:

1. Choose a Drawing Tool.
1. Create a line.
  1. Select the Create Line tool.
  2. Click out a series of points, and double-click to end the line.
2. Create a rectangle.
  1. Select the Create Rectangle tool.
  2. Click in the Graphics Window and drag out the desired size and shape for the rectangle.
3. Create an oval.
  1. Select the Create Oval tool
  2. Click in the Graphics Window and drag until the oval is the desired shape and size.
4. Create text.
  1. Select the Create Text tool
  2. Click once in the Graphics Window in the space where the text should appear to bring up the Text Attributes dialog.
  3. Enter the desired text in the Text Attributes dialog and change the font and font color as desired.
  4. Click OK to close the Text Attributes dialog.
2. Alter shape.
  1. Click the Select Drawing Objects tool located under the Project Explorer.
  2. Click once on a shape to move it or change the shape or size.
  3. Double-click on a shape to bring up the shape's Attributes dialog window.
  4. In the Attribute dialog window, change the shape's line type, width, or color, and choose if the shape should be filled with a color or left blank.
3. Move tools.
  1. Use the Select Drawing Objects tool to select a shape.
  2. Click the Move to Front tool located under the Project Explorer to move the shape so it on the top layer in Graphics Window.
  3. Click the Move to Back tool to move the shape so it is behind all other layers in the Graphics Window.
  4. Click the Shuffle Up tool to move the shape up one layer in the Graphics Window.
  5. Click the Shuffle Down tool to move the shape down one layer in the Graphics Window.
