1. Right-click on the 1D-Hyd cross section coverage and select Extract cross sections.
2. In the Extract Cross Sections dialog, specify the source of materials. Options include:
   • Materials defined on an existing map coverage.
   • Materials defined with a shapefile.
   • Using a constant Manning's n.
