Refine 2D Mesh
The Refine 2D Mesh tool creates a 2D mesh from an existing 2D mesh, and splits the elements into smaller elements.
Input parameters
- Mesh – Select the 2D mewsh that will be refined.
- Locked Nodes Dataset (Optional) – Select a scalar dataset that specifies which nodes are locked. Any node with a non-zero scalar value is "locked." Any cell edges that contain one or more locked nodes will not be split.
Output parameters
- Output mesh name – Enter the name for the new refined mesh.
