Besides taking advantage of computed basin parameters such as area and slope, and the graphical user interface, WMS includes several other useful utilities for use with development of HEC-1 models.
Lag time or time of concentration values that are used as part of the HEC-1 synthetic unit hydrograph methods can be defined.
Each sub-basin can use one equation. Coefficients and parameters used in the equation may be individually edited.
Lag time values that are used as part of the SCS synthetic unit hydrograph method can be defined from geometric data computed from a TIN or DEM.
