Template:MODFLOW-USG GNC Package Workflow

1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW-USG project.
The existing model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.

2. Activate the drain return package.
Select MODFLOW | Global Options. In the MODFLOW Global/Basic Package dialog, select the Packages button. In the MODFLOW Packages/Processes dialog, select the DRT1 – Drain Return option.

3. Create DRT boundary conditions.
Using the Select Cells tool, select cells in the drain boundary condition area. Select the MODFLOW | Advanced | Sources/Sinks... menu command. Enter drain return values in the MODFLOW Sources/Sinks dialog.

4. Modify DRT inputs.
Select the MODFLOW | Optional Packages | DRT – Drain Return… menu command. Modify inputs in the MODFLOW Drain Return Package dialog.

5. Run MODFLOW.
Save the project. Run MODFLOW .
