Fill Depressions
The Fill Depressions tool is used to fill in all of the depressions in a digital elevation model (DEM) and to remove flat areas. The tool identifies single-cell pits and visits them in highest to lowest until it identifies an outlet flow point, then it back-fills
Input Parameters
- Input raster DEM file: –
- Optional flag indicating whether flat areas should have a small gradient applied – Default is checked on.
Output Parameters
- Output raster file: – Enter the name of the output file.
