1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW 6 project.
The existing MODFLOW 6 model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.
2. Add the PEST Observations package to the simulation.
  1. Right-click on the MF6 GWF Model.svg GWF model and select New Package, then select the desired package from the list.
3. Modify PEST Observations inputs.
  1. Right-click on the package in the Project Explorer and select the Open command.
  2. Modify the inputs in the package dialog.
  • In the case of PEST Observation inputs, observations are generated from coverages that have observation data already saved. It is necessary to select at least one coverage with head observation data and at least one with flow observation data.
