Expand1. Create spectral points.

Expand1. Create a Spectral coverage. Create a new coverage with the "Spectral" type. Expand1. Create new coverage from scratch. Select Map Data in the Project Explorer and use the New Coverage right-click command. Use the New Coverage dialog to create a new coverage by selecting the desired coverage type, and naming the coverage. Expand2. Create new coverage from an existing coverage. Use the Duplicate command on an existing coverage. This will copy any feature objects on the coverage. Use the Rename command to give the coverage a new name. Change the coverage type. Expand2. Create a feature point. Use the Create Feature Point tool to add a point where the spectral data is to be imported on the spectral coverage. Expand3. Assign spectral data to location. Double-click on a point in the spectral coverage using the Select Feature Point tool. In the Spectral Energy dialog, click the Import Spectra button. In the Import Spectra dialog, select the spectral data file to assign to the point.

Expand2. Define STWAVE spectral parameters.
Select the STWAVE | Model Control menu command. Set the STWAVE Model Control to use a spectral coverage as the boundary condition. Set Spectral Events.

Expand3. Assign WAM to STWAVE.
Right-click on the WAM grid and select the WAM to STWAVE command. Select the desired STWAVE grid in the WAM to STWAVE Options dialog. Create spectral sites in the WAM Spectral sites from STWAVE dialog.
