Template:Import SSURGO shapefile data: Difference between revisions

1. Import SSURGO file
Use the File \| Open... command to import GIS data files such as Shapefiles, MIF/MID files, Lidar files, or raster files. Alternatively, drag and drop the file into the Graphics Window in SMS.

2. Join SSURGO files
Right-click on each downloaded shapefile and select Join NRCS Soil Data to open the Join NRCS Soil Data dialog. Change parameters and change file name if needed, and save.
