1. Import cross section database.
  1. Right-click on the 1D cross section coverage in Project Explorer and select Properties.
  2. Use the CsDb Management dialog to import a cross section database.
2. Manually create cross sections.
  1. Select the Create Feature Arc File:Create Feature Arc icon.png tool and click out cross section arcs.
  2. Right-click on the 1D cross section coverage in Project Explorer and select Extract from Scatter to assign elevation to cross sections.
3. Generate cross sections from network coverage.
  1. Right-click on the 1D network coverage in the Project Explorer and select the Create Cross Section Arcs command.
  2. Define cross sections in Create Cross Section Arcs dialog.
  3. Use the Select Feature Node or Point Select Feature Point or Node.png tool to clean up cross sections.
  4. Right-click on the 1D cross section coverage in Project Explorer and select Extract from Scatter to assign elevation data to cross sections.
