1. Create 3D bridge arcs.
See the 3D Bridge workflow for instructions on how to do this.
2. Copy bridge arcs to SEH-2D boundary conditions coverage.
  1. Using the Select Feature Arc SMS Select Arc Tool.svg tool, select both bridge arcs.
  2. Right-click and select Copy to Coverage.
  3. In the Select Coverage dialog, select the SRH-2D boundary condition coverage that will be used in the SRH-2D simulation.
3. Create a link structure.
  1. Using the Select Feature Arc SMS Select Arc Tool.svg tool, select both bridge arcs in the BC coverage.
  2. Right-click and select the Assign Linear BC... command.
  3. In the SRH-2D Linear BC dialog, assign the link boundary conditions specifying specifying the link inflow as a "weir".
4. Include the 3D bridge in the simulation.
  1. Right-click on the simulation and select the Model Control command.
  2. Set the model parameters in the SRH-2D Model Control dialog to include using a ceiling file and the 3D bridge.
