GMS:MODFLOW ETS Package Workflow: Difference between revisions

To use the ETS (Evapotranspiration Segments) package in an existing MODFLOW project, use the following processes:

1. Begin with an existing MODFLOW project.
The existing model can be created using the conceptual model or grid based approach.

2. Enable the ETS package.
Select MODFLOW \| Global Options. In the MODFLOW Global/Basic Package dialog, select the Packages button. In the MODFLOW Packages/Processes dialog, select the ETS1 – Evapotranspiration option.

3. Specify evapotranspiration in the ETS package.
Select the MODFLOW \| Optional Packages \| ETS – Evapotranspiration Segments… menu command. Define parameters in the MODFLOW ETS Package dialog including the following parameters: Max ET Rate ET Surface Extinction Depth

4. Run MODFLOW.
Save the project. Run MODFLOW .
