To create a mesh in SMS, use the following steps:

1. Edit during generation.
Some aspects of the mesh can be specified during generation.
  1. Use the options in the 2D Mesh Options dialog.
2. Post-processed mesh editing.
After the mesh have been created, there are several options for editing the mesh.
  1. Delete extra elements.
  2. Delete thin triangles.
  3. Renumber node strings.
  4. Split quadrilaterals.
  5. Merge triangles.
  6. Merge multiple meshes
