Expand1. In the ADH coverage, set polygon mesh properties.
Double-click on the polygon with the Select Feature Polygon tool. Enter mesh, bathymetry, and material type in the 2D Mesh Polygon Properties dialog.

Expand2. Convert the ADH coverage to a 2D Mesh.
Use the Feature Objects \| Map → 2D Mesh command. Give the mesh a name in the Mesh Name dialog.
