The following is a start at a list of the more significant changes that will be introduced in GMS 8.4.
- MODFLOW Gage package
- Full support for the MODFLOW gage package.
- PEST null space Monte Carlo
- Push-of-a-button support for PEST null space Monte Carlo makes calibration faster and easier.
- Measure tool
- The static tool palette gets a new tool for quickly and easily measuring distances.
- Selected items
- Locate Selections: This new commmand in the Edit menu causes an animated rectangle to zoom in around whatever is currently selected.
- Zoom To Selections: This new commmand in the Display menu causes the screen to be framed around whatever is currently selected.
- "Streamflow Out" of each reach in separate CCF file
- The ISTCB2 flag in the SFR package allows for streamflow out of each reach to be saved. This data was moved to a separate compact budget file so that it doesn't get included with the flow budget since it doesn't affect the aquifer.
