Template:TUFLOW 2D Flow Constriction Cells Workflow

Expand1. Create a 2D flow constriction coverage.

Create a new coverage with the TUFLOW "2D Flow Constrictions (cell based)" type. Expand1. Create new coverage from scratch. Select Map Data in the Project Explorer and use the New Coverage right-click command. Use the New Coverage dialog to create a new coverage by selecting the desired coverage type, and naming the coverage. Expand2. Create new coverage from an existing coverage. Use the Duplicate command on an existing coverage. This will copy any feature objects on the coverage. Use the Rename command to give the coverage a new name. Change the coverage type.

Expand2. Assign cells for flow constriction area.
In the Cartesian Grid module, use the Select Grid Cells tool to select cells in flow constriction area. Assign the cells to the "2D Flow Constrictions (cell based)" coverage by right-clicking on the selected cells and selecting the Cells to Active Coverage command.

Expand3. Assign attributes in for the flow constriction area.
In the flow constriction coverage, use the Select Feature Polygon tool to right-click on the polygons in the flow constriction area and select the Attributes command. Assign flow constriction attributes in the Flow Constriction dialog.
