To create annotations, using the Annotations module in SMS, do the following:

1. Create annotation objects.
The following annotation objects can be created:
1. Create text objects.
  1. Select the Create Text Object Text Annotation Tool.svg tool and click on the area in the Graphics Window where text is to be added.
  2. Select screen space or world space if this is the first annotation object being created.
  3. In the Text Properties dialog, enter text to be displayed and select the text font, color, background, and border.

  1. Select the Create Scale Bar Scale Bar Annotation Tool.svg tool and click on the area in the Graphics Window where the scale bar is to be added.
