The properties of all UTCHEM data that GMS displays on the screen can be controlled through the 3D Grid tab of the Display Options dialog. This dialog is opened by right-clicking on the 3D Grid Data entry in the Project Explorer and selecting the Display Options command. It can also be accessed from the from the Display menu, the UTCHEM menu, or the Display Options macro. The following table describes the display options available for the UTCHEM model.
Display Option | Description |
---|---|
Wells | Controls the display of the symbol representing wells in the UTCHEM simulation. If the grid is viewed in profile view, a thick solid line is also drawn below the well symbol representing the well screen. The well symbol can be changed by clicking on the button. This brings up the Symbol Editor dialog. The Symbol Editor contains a list of available symbols and can be used to edit the size and color of the symbol. |
Well names | Controls the display of the well names next to the well symbol. The well name font, font size, and font color can be adjusted by clicking on the button to the left of the toggle. |
Specified boundaries | Controls the display of the symbol representing the specified boundary. The specified boundary symbol can be changed by clicking on the button. This brings up the Symbol Editor dialog. The Symbol Editor contains a list of available symbols and can be used to edit the size and color of the symbol. |
Display symbol legend | If the Symbol legend option is selected, a legend showing each of the symbols associated with sources/sinks and constant concentration cells is displayed in the lower right corner of the GMS window. |
Check All | By clicking this button, all of the display options are turned on. |
Check None | By clicking this button, all of the display options are turned off. |
