This article is for a model that is under development by Aquaveo and its partners. The model is not available to the public at this time. It is not known when or if the model will be released. The content may not apply to current or older versions. |
The sediment parameters are defined on a project level. To edit the sediment parameters, right-click on the base dredge tree item and choose "Global Sediment Properties." The sediment parameters will include the information necessary to setup PTM sources and provide the sediment information for the dredge source model runs.
Dredge Source Model
- Particles subject to transport (percent)
- In situ sediment concentration (kg/m^3)
- Liquid limit (percent) – Obtained from standard geotechnical Atterberg limits tests
- Plastic limit (percent) – Obtained from standard geotechnical Atterberg limits tests
- Water Content (percent) – See water content
- Porosity (percent) – See porosity
- Stickiness (string : non, slight, moderate, or very) – See Dredge Material Properties Stickiness
PTM Source parameters
- Median Grain size (mm)
- Standard deviation for size distribution (Phi-units)
- Density (kg/m^3)
- Parcel Mass (kg)
