SMS:Feature Stamping Workflow

To build a feature stamp, use the following steps:

1. Create a feature stamp coverage and centerline.
Right-click on the Map Data folder and select the New Coverage command. Use the New Coverage dialog to create a feature stamping coverage.

2. Assign attributes.
Assign attributes to the centerline including: The elevation along the centerline. The cross sections along the centerline

3. Stamp the feature.
This converts the centerline and its attributes to: Another coverage containing all the extents and details of the feature A scatter set defining the elevation for the feature.
