D8 Flow Directions
The D8 Flow Directions tool is used to create a flow pointer grid. This tool is usually used after the Breach Depressions or the Fill Depressions tools have been run. The direction raster created by this tool is necessary for other tools.
Input Parameters
- Input raster DEM file: – Select the raster DEM file to use.
- D8 pointer uses the ESRI style scheme – Check this option if the pointer file contains ESRI flow direction values.
Output Parameters
- Output raster file: – Enter the name of the output file.
