SMS:SRH-2D Monitor Points Workflow

To use SRH-2D monitoring points, follow the steps below:

1. Create a Monitor coverage.
Create a new coverage with the SRH-2D "Monitor" type. Select Map Data in the Project Explorer and use the New Coverage right-click command. Use the New Coverage dialog to create a new coverage by selecting the desired coverage type, and naming the coverage.

2. Create feature points in the coverage.
Use the Create Feature Point tool to create points in the coverage. Typically at least two points are created: one in the channel near the upstream boundary, or the bridge opening, and the other in the channel near the downstream boundary.
