To use advection dispersion in a TUFLOW project, complete the following:

1. Set advection dispersion parameters.
  1. Right-click on the TUFLOW simulation item in the Project Explorer and select the 2D Model Control command.
  2. In the TUFLOW 2D Model Control dialog, select the Constituents page and create a constituent item.
2. Assign advection dispersion boundary conditions.
  1. Using the Select Feature Arc SMS Select Arc Tool.svg tool, select a boundary condition arc created on a TUFLOW 1D–2D BC and Links coverage.
  2. Select the Feature Objects | Attributes command.
  3. In the Boundary Conditions dialog, assign a boundary condition type and click on the Advection Dispersion BC button.
  4. In the Advection Dispersion dialog, select a constituent the click on the Curve button.
  5. In the XY Series Editor dialog, assign time and concentration data for the advection dispersion.
