SMS:Feature Stamping Workflow

To build a feature stamp, use the following steps:

1. Create a feature stamp coverage.
Right-click on the Map Data folder and select the New Coverage command. Use the New Coverage dialog to create a feature stamping coverage.

2. Create a centerline and feature objects.
Create a centerline arc. Create other feature points and arcs as needed.

3. Assign attributes.
Assign attributes to the centerline including: The elevation along the centerline. The cross sections along the centerline

4. Stamp the feature.
Use the Convert → Stamp Features ... command.
