In order to provide a way to export watersheds delineated from TIN data sources to GIS they must first be converted to [[WMS:Feature Objects|feature objects]]. This can be done using the '''Drainage Data -> Feature Objects''' command. When performing this operation the TIN is deleted and the drainage boundary and stream network are converted to feature polygons and feature arcs. The '''Export''' command from the '''File''' menu can then be used to save the feature objects to a shapefile so that the information can easily be transferred to a GIS. All of the drainage data computed/entered for the TIN basins and junctions (areas, lag times, slopes, and other hydrologic modeling parameters) are automatically transferred during the conversion process.

In order to provide a way to export watersheds delineated from TIN data sources to GIS they must first be converted to feature objects. This can be done using the Drainage Data → Feature Objects command. When performing this operation the TIN is deleted and the drainage boundary and stream network are converted to feature polygons and feature arcs. The Export command from the File menu can then be used to save the feature objects to a shapefile so that the information can easily be transferred to a GIS. All of the drainage data computed/entered for the TIN basins and junctions (areas, lag times, slopes, and other hydrologic modeling parameters) are automatically transferred during the conversion process.
