The primary use of Plot Windows is to display the hydrographs that result from hydrologic modeling simulations.

1. Open Hydrograph Plot Window.
  1. Make the Hydrologic Modeling Module active.
  2. Use the Select hydrograph tool and double-click the hydrograph to be viewed. Alternatively, select the hydrograph and use Open Hydrograph Plot under the Display menu. The shift key can be used to select multiple hydrographs to be displayed in the same plot window.
1. Generate a plot using Plot Wizard.
  1. Go to the Display menu and select Plot Wizard....
  2. Select either the Maricopa County Scatter Plot or FHWA Storm Drain HGL Plot and go to the second page of the Plot Wizard.
  3. Define the plot options.
2. Open the display options.
  1. Right-click in the hydrograph plot window.
  2. Select Display Options from the menu.
  3. Alter the settings for how the plot is displayed. This includes general, font, color, style, axis, etc.
3. Change the axis titles.
  1. Open a plot window.
  2. Right-click in the plot window and select Axis Titles....
  3. Enter a new title for the X and Y axes.
4. View the plot values.
  1. Open a plot window.
  2. Right-click in the plot window and select View Values....
5. Export the plot.
  1. Open a plot, generated either through selecting a hydrograph or using the Plot Wizard.
  2. Right-click in the plot window and select Export/Print....
  3. The plot window can be save as an EMF, WMF, BMP, JPG, PNG, SVG, or Text/Data file.
  4. Select the Export Destination and define the export size.
