To use Infiltration in a GSSHA model with WMS, use the following steps:
1. Create base GSSHA model.

- A GSSHA model is needed before soil data can be added.
|
2. Add soil data.
|
- Create a "Soil Type" coverage.
- Select the soil polygons that overlay the watershed.
- Select Mapping | Shapes → Feature Objects
- Add a soil type shapefile.

3. Create GSSHA index map.
|
- From the 2D Grid Module, select GSSHA | Maps
- Input coverage attributes.
- Select the Coverages -> Index Maps button.

4. Assign infiltration parameters.
|
- Select GSSHA | Map Tables....
- Select the Infiltration tab.
- Enter infiltration parameters.
- Choose the name given to the index map in the Using index map drop down box.
- Select the Generate IDs button.
