The MODFLOW Gage (GAGE) package allows gaging stations to be added to lakes and SFR stream reaches. A gaging station provides detailed time series data. MODFLOW generates a text file for each GAGE station that is available to be opened from a MODFLOW solution in the Project Explorer. GMS also provides an interface to generate gage plots via the [[GMS:Plot Wizard|Plot Wizard]]. A detailed description of the GAGE input is available at [http://water.usgs.gov/nrp/gwsoftware/modflow2000/Guide/index.html?gage.htm the USGS website]. | The MODFLOW Gage (GAGE) package allows gaging stations to be added to lakes and SFR stream reaches. Gaging stations can be directly added via the ''Gage Package'' dialog. Stream gages are added in the table at the top using the SFR segment and reach for the desired cell. Lake gages are added in the table at the bottom using the lake ID. A button is also provided to easily add gage stations for all lakes in the model. The OUTTYPE column for both lakes and streams determines the data columns included in the text output. | Gaging stations can be directly added via the ''Gage Package'' dialog.
